Basilica del Santo Niño


The Minor Basilica of the Holy Child, commonly known as Basilica del Santo Niño, is a minor basilica in Cebu City.  It is the oldest Roman Catholic church established in the country.

The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu Basilica Complex is located in city block bordered by Osmeña Boulevard, D. Jakosalem St, P. Burgos St. and the Plaza Sugbo where the Magellan’s Cross is located.  The main entrance is along Osmeña Boulevard.  Two blocks north of the basilica is the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.


Casa Gorordo Museum

It is known for its colorful history and great attractions.  Casa Gorordo was initially the home of the first Filipino Bishop of Cebu.  This museum serves as a display of a typical Filipino home of the 19th century.  It showcases the religious relics, paintings, antique furniture and other household items.  The museum also displays modern-day art exhibits, ceramics, pottery and other cultural activities.
